  i'm surprised none of the parents yelled at any teachers.

  another excellent book pertinent to the jws is lois lowry's the giver.

  yes, it is a young adult book, and yes, it's not about witnesses per se.

  some people say that jws are very good at what they do.

  they are highly trained in their doctrine.

  one website said that they would blow the average christian away in an arguement.

  John Mayer Stinks

  i can't stand the guy or his songs.

  his voice is grating.

  what's worse, my local radio station plays one of his songs like every 15 minutes, and every other station is either country or classical music.

  i was thoroughly disgusted after last sunday's meeting.

  the talk was about satan and his methods of trapping people.

  as many of you probably know, they are adamantly against any and all forms of spiritism, including harry potter, any tv shows containing spiritism, and video games containing spiritism.

  How many of you were disfellowshipped?

  i get the impression from reading posts that a great deal are.

  i also noticed while i was studying with them that virtually everybody has/had a relative that was disfellowshipped or knew someone who is/was.

  How would a JW respond to this question?

  before i met my first jw after going off to college, i came from a town of about 3,000 people.

  the town is primarily various protestant denominations, catholic, and mormon, but certainly no jws.

  as a matter of fact, i hung out with people who had friends of varying religions and denominations, but i never heard anything about a jw.
